Is good teaching enough?

One can argue the ability of the curriculum to teach content that is relevant and tends to be an obstacle to absolute change as teachers are bound to teach each it. Lets acknowledge that the process of enacting any real curriculum reform is a long and laborious one.
However teachers are in control of the ways in which they teach. If stagnated curriculum is taught in an innovative way, will this be the happy medium to see us over the line? Can teaching skills alone contextualise learning pathways that long ago became overgrown and seldom visited.

Teachers have to change their perceptions of the role they play. When “teachers are still teaching from the front but using whiteboards” we are a long way from finding that middle ground
